 Nina Riggle

Sustainable Sewist & Meditation Teacher

“Her proposal for my small business was thorough, giving me many opportunities for growth and visibility. She continues to inspire me to dream big. I am excited to continue working with her to grow my business.”– Nina Riggle

THE SITUATION:

Nina is dedicated to improving lives by teaching people to create more and consume less through sustainable living and meditation.

A talented sewist, she recently opened her new online Sew Shop of finished hand-sewn items made from upcycled and raw materials.

She needed to grow her audience and customer base by increasing traffic to NinaRiggle.com, the email newsletter list, and followers on social media with a low budget.

THE TARGET & WORK:

Millennial women looking for unique items for home decoration or gifts, but don't have time to learn how to sew. â€‹We wrote a full marketing plan that's currently being implemented, and are reaching out to this audience by:

For the Grand Opening of The Sew Shop, we offered a free drink coaster set with a purchase of $25 or more and promoted this value-added offer through eblasts, Facebook, and Instagram. This led to a 22% increase in email opt-ins and receiving a deposit for a customized quilt (a big-ticket item in the sewing world).

We also plan to run a lead generation campaign on Facebook and Instagram to increase the email list, and pitch stories to local news channels, podcasts, and blogs that focus on sewing, parenting, and sustainable living.
