Growing & managing teams of people
Nicole gets excited about inspiring people to become advocates for brands that spark positive change.
She brings creative, data-based, and people-focused ideas to her work.
She started her career at the Auditorium Theatre, a National Historic Landmark, where she worked her way up from the Marketing Associate to the Director of Audience Development.
During her tenure, Nicole created many new programs that grew audiences. Notably, she was a key team player increasing overall ticket sales by 46% increase during the 2018-19 season and a 67% increase in subscription ticket sales over four seasons.
She worked on countless projects including:
Social Media
Established the theatre's first social media platform on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube – one of the first in the Chicago performing arts market.
Groups/Subscriptions
Managed the group and subscription ticket programs, which included a full overhaul of the subscription renewal process. Identifying target audiences and creating messaging and special ticket promotions for them.
Management
Grew the department from one part-time Sales Associate to a team of five people by opening and overseeing a Ticket Services Call Center during the theatre's transition from Ticketmaster to Tessitura (CRM systems).
Data
Built the theatre's first data platform, including Tessitura (CRM) Analytics software, which changed the theatre's culture to taking a more data-focused approach when making marketing decisions.
Nicole holds an MBA from Roosevelt University and a BA in Music Business from Western Illinois University. She resides in Oak Lawn, where she serves on the village's Arts and Events Commission. She and her husband enjoy hiking and relaxing outside on their deck with their two cats - a Tortie mix and Havana Brown.
